The KeyMicro Flash Hider is a short, lightweight flash hider suited for a variety of platforms. Designed for use with our KeyMicro Adapter, it functions as a minimalist flash hider on its own. Pair them together for the ultimate mounting platform. This is the same technology found in our industry-best KeyMo system. The KeyMicro muzzle devices are also compatible with our KeyMo Adapter.
KeyMicro muzzle devices feature a 9mm Bore.
A flash hider reduces the visible flash at the muzzle, which helps preserve your night vision and makes your position harder to spot in low light. On suppressor-ready designs it also serves as the mounting point for the suppressor, so it has to be precisely made and properly aligned with the bore.
Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2×28 is common on 5.56 and .22 rifles, 5/8×24 on .30 caliber rifles) and confirm the device is made for your suppressor’s mounting system. Muzzle devices should be installed, timed and secured exactly as the manufacturer specifies. If you’re not sure, have a gunsmith do it.
