The Stiction Lock Comp 5.56 1/2×28, constructed from durable 17-4 stainless steel, is a 5.56 flash hider muzzle device designed for compatibility with our Hub Stiction Lock Adapter and the Dead Air Xeno Mounting System.

The 1/2×28 9mm version is needed for larger than 5.56 projectiles from host weapon, to include .300BLK

What It Does

A muzzle brake redirects propellant gas out to the sides to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, so you can stay on target and get faster follow-up shots. On suppressor-ready designs it also serves as the mounting point for the suppressor. Brakes are loud for people standing beside the shooter, so they are often paired with a suppressor.

Before You Order

Match the thread pitch to your barrel (1/2×28 is common on 5.56 and .22 rifles, 5/8×24 on .30 caliber rifles) and confirm the device is made for your suppressor’s mounting system. Muzzle devices should be installed, timed and secured exactly as the manufacturer specifies. If you’re not sure, have a gunsmith do it.
