Q – Cherry Bastard by APA 2-Port Brake

The Q Cherry Bastard by APA 2-Port Brake is available now from LM Ironwerks, a licensed FFL/SOT dealer in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Cherry Bastard is a two-piece, Quickie Fast-Attach muzzle brake that still plays nice with Q cans like the Speakeasy, Jumbo Shrimp, and Trash Panda, while adding a little more attitude up front when the can is off.

Same taper mount.
Same clean alignment.
Different behavior when you pull the trigger.

The Bastard’ s port design brings serious recoil reduction for its size, and the two-piece setup with a timing nut means you can install it exactly how you want—no shims, no washers, no nonsense.

What it’s good at:

• Delivering significant recoil reduction in a compact package

• Staying compatible with Quickie Fast-Attach silencers

• Using taper mount for proper alignment

• Allowing easy install with wrench flats and a timing nut

• Keeping things cleaner when shooting prone

• Working on both tapered and 90° shouldered barrels

It’s not a replacement.
It’s a different flavor.

Same tapered ecosystem—just a little more aggressive about it.
